PSYCHOTHERAPY SPECIALTIES
It’s impossible to reduce the complicated things expressed in therapy to a flat list of stressors and symptoms, but below are the needs I most often assist with. (Besides, all the people seeking “anxiety treatment” may have very different hopes for what that would mean to their quality of life!) If you don’t see your issue(s) on the list, please feel free to ask. It’s unlikely that a specific life circumstance missing here is a meaningful omission. Why? Because psychologists are trained to help people cope with complex thoughts, feelings and behaviors in their endless, maddening combinations, not to follow a manual for anxiety treatment or any particular condition. Thus, finding a “specialist” in anxiety treatment will be less fruitful than finding someone who understands your anxiety would be.

SERVICES I’M UNABLE TO PROVIDE
There are other professionals who could help you more fully than I could with certain needs.
Below are examples of issues for which I would refer you to another healthcare provider:
Child custody evaluations
Autistic spectrum and learning disability evaluations
Disability / worker’s compensation evaluations (“L & I”)
Evaluation of competency to stand trial
Treatment of patients below age 21
Treatment of advanced anorexia or bulimia if not also seeing a primary care provider
